Timothy John Barnes, Jr., 67, died Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the Morrill County Community Hospital in Bridgeport.
He was born January 13, 1955 in Alliance, Nebraska to Timothy J. and Corrine M. (Lone Wolf) Barnes.
He and his siblings grew up in Alliance where he attended school and received his GED in 1987. On January 6, 1989 he married Christina Gayle Puckett in Sidney, Nebraska. To this union three children were born, Corrine Barnes, Timothy III (Johnna) Barnes and Douglas Barnes, all of Alliance.
He worked several service jobs in Alliance before retiring at the age of 62. He had quit working prior to that due to health.
He loved all of his children and grandchildren, as well as his brother, sister and extended family members. He is survived by his wife, their children, his grandchildren, his daughter-in-law, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, his grandparents, his parents, aunts, uncles, brother, sister and nieces and nephews.
A visitation with the family present will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the Bates-Gould Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Indian Mission-Church of God. Inurnment will be in the Alliance Cemetery. Pastor Don Mink and Linda Abold will officiate.
