On Friday, April 12, Alliance Police Department Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of 2nd Street and Yellowstone Avenue. The accident remains under investigation, though preliminary information provided by Sergeant David LaDuke shows that the crash involved a pickup truck and a smaller sized car, and that after the car was struck, it rolled over, coming to rest on its roof. LaDuke said that the driver of the car was transported to Box Butte General Hospital to be treated for injuries. He noted that charges have been recommended for failure to yield and for no proof of insurance.
