The Alliance Boys Golf team headed to the Western Conference Chadron Invite on April 28, where they claimed third out of 8 other teams in Division one, shooting a team score of 344.
“As a team we failed to defend our Western Conference title from last year but placed 3rd by a total of 3 strokes sorting a 344, our best score of the year,” said Coach Brandt Banzhaf.
The Bulldogs had two top ten finishers. Seth Morrison led the Bulldogs in Chadron placing sixth, where he shot a score of 84 and Isaac Weems placed 10th where he shot a score of 86.
“I’m proud of our boys performances today. I know that they were not satisfied with their scores from Monday and they practiced with more focus and intent this week. Seth Morrison has shown tremendous growth this season and paced our team today placing sixth with an 84. Isaac Weems has been a steady performer for us this year and that showed today placing 10th with an 86,” said Banzhaf.
