Warm and very windy conditions greeted the Alliance St. Agnes track teams Friday as the Crusaders ended their season taking part in the Gering Invite. St. Agnes concluded their year with four gold medal performers. For the Lady Crusaders it was seventh graders Paz Cody claiming gold in the 800 with a winning time of 2:50. Seventh grade boys Mason Hamilton and Asher Saka finished their fine season with first place finishes. Hamilton won the high jump while Saka won both the 800 and mile. Hamilton

Coach Mark Glesinger said, “A very nice way to end the year. We had a lot of PR (Personal Records) on a day that was tough dealing with the wind. Many thanks go out to Cheryl, Barbie, and Buck for helping coach the kids and to all the parents who drove to the meets. We were disappointed that the Alliance meet was canceled but we were able to attend seven of the other meets which might be the most we have ever competed in.”
