Scottsbluff’s Police and Fire Department’s responded to a car versus motorcycle crash with injuries at the intersection of 1st Ave and East 19th St on Sunday June 4.
Preliminary investigation revealed that James Nathaniel Adams, age 17 of rural Morrill, was north bound on 1st Ave on a motorcycle. Cadence DuBray, age 17 of Scottsbluff, was east bound on East 19th Street in a passenger vehicle.
The east bound vehicle struck the north bound motorcycle in the intersection. The motorcycle rider was transported to Regional West Medical Center by Valley Ambulance Service.
A citation was issued to, Krista Hernandez, age 39 of Scottsbluff, for not having proof of insurance. Krista is the owner of the passenger vehicle. No other citations have been issued, pending completion of a traffic crash reconstruction. The investigation is ongoing.
