The Alliance area APA Pool Leagues will be well represented in the upcoming APA Poolplayer Championships, held annually in April at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino.
Tony Gonzalez and Truen Henderson, both from Alliance, will compete in the 9-Ball Shootout Singles Championship.
Carter Vath and De Holt from Dalton (play in the Alliance Leagues) will team up in the 9-Ball Doubles Championship.
Players that earn a spot in the APA Poolplayer Championships compete against others at or near their own skill level on over 300 pool tables and for a share of over $800,000 in cash and prizes.
Players also enjoy a generous travel allowance and complimentary lodging at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino, site of the APA Championship events.
