With a 22 to 6 win over Scottsbluff on Saturday the Alliance middle school 8th grade football team improved to 4 and 0 on the year. The Bulldogs raced to a 14 to 0 lead at half and never looked back. In the b game it was the Bearcats grabbing the W downing the Dogs 20 to 6. The games were played at Scottsbluff’s Bearcat stadium.
Also on Saturday the Bulldog seventh graders were in action in a contest against the Bluffs. The Cats were up for the challenge, shutting out the Bulldogs 34 to 0. With the loss the seventh grade squad now sees their record drop to 1 and 3 on the season. The ball game was play at Alliance’s Bulldog stadium.

The season comes to an end for both teams this week. On Tuesday the Dogs travel to Chadron with a pair of games versus the Cardinals. Start time is set for 5:00 with the seventh graders schedule to play first. The last games for the year are set for Saturday in Mitchell against the Tigers with kickoff set for 10:00.
