The Box Butte County Commissioners recognized Dennis Laughlin for his seven years of service to the State of Nebraska and Box Butte County, from 2015 to 2022 as the Veterans Service Officer. Chairman Steve Burke also read from a proclamation showing support for veterans through Operation Green Light, inviting Box Butte County citizens to display green lights in a window of their residence or their place of business from Nov. 6-12.
