Joseph E Finkey Jr, 87, of Colorado, passed away on September 16th, 2024. Joseph was born in Rushville, Nebraska on November 23rd, 1936. He loved Cornhusker Football and the Denver Broncos. Hobbies included playing billiards, fishing and hanging out with his Chihuahua, Eddie.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph E Finkey Sr, stepfather Russell Fanning, mother Marie Fanning, sons Joseph E “Jay” Finkey III, and Wayne Sorenson.
Surviving children include: Russell Finkey, Carol Bussinger, Lanny Finkey, Marina Finkey, Gelinda Halle, Michael Sorenson, Larry Finkey, Aaron Finkey. He left behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also, close friend Diane Hoff and her daughter Andrea.
