Foundation Literary Basket Auction and Open House at Alliance Public Library Announced

The Alliance Public Library Foundation’s Literary Basket Auction is here! Stop by the Library to enjoy this year’s collection of baskets and find the perfect gift for that special someone. Register at the Circulation desk to get your bidding number to use throughout the auction.

There will be an Open House on Thursday, November 21 from 5-7 p.m., with special entertainment by Charlie Mae Carnine, the AHS Theater Class, and Jason & Jack Hager. At 5:30 p.m., Charlie Mae Carnine will share Christmas and Old-Time music with her fiddle. At 6:00 p.m., the AHS Theater Class will share their original interpretation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” At 6:25 p.m., Jason & Jack Hager will share as Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim. Special thanks to our performers and to the Alliance Public Library Foundation for providing refreshments.

Should you be the winner of a basket(s), and are unable to attend the final bidding night, you will be contacted by the library staff on Friday, November 22. You will have until Wednesday, November 27 to pick up your basket(s). All proceeds go to support programming for the library.
