Lady Bulldogs Fall Prey to Tigers

The Mitchell Tiger came to Alliance and limited Alliance to a season low 15 points enroute to a 44-15 victory. The Bulldogs would be plagued with poor shooting all night combing for 14 percent from the floor. The Bulldogs drop to 0-6 on the season.

The Bulldogs did have their best start to a game playing the Tigers nearly even in the first quarter only trailing 11-9. That is when the Bulldogs turned cold and could only manage 2 point a period the rest of the way. Cameron Tritle would lead the scoring with 7 points, all in the first period. Jordan Hopp would lead the rebounding with 8 boards and the blocked shot category with 7 on the night. The Bulldogs did shoot 63% from the free throw line but unfortunately only took 8 attempts, a season low. The Bulldogs committed 27 turnovers which is actually below the season average to show some improvement.

The Bulldogs next action is a trip to Sidney to take on the Red Raiders. The Raiders beat Mitchell by 39 points in a meeting a couple weeks ago so the Bulldogs will again have to step up to the challenge.
