With 99 points, the Alliance Middle School 8th grade boy’s track team was first Saturday at the Chadron Invite. Gering was second with 86 points. Leading the offense for the Dogs were Eddie Red Nest who won both 100 and the long jump and Casyn Nelson who won the 400. Seventh grader Dixon Bair took home first in the seventh grade boy’s 400 and led the Bulldogs to a 4th place team finish with 51 points.
Scottsbluff was first in the seventh grade team race with 115 points and Gering was second with 75 points. As for the Lady Bulldogs. they finished 8th in both the 7th and 8th grade divisions. AMS tallied 12 points in seventh grade while the 8th grade squad ended with 10 points. Chadron and Gordon-Rushville went 1-2 on the seventh grade side while Gering won the 8th grade team title with Niobrara County coming in second.
