Game #2 for the Alliance Navy team in their tournament in Torrington featured a battle with the host Tigers. The Spartans had their hands full with Torrington as the Tigers defeated the Peltz Co 15 to 0 in a third inning affair. Alliance was no hit by the Wyoming squad in game played on Friday. Jayden Garcia and Casyn Nelson were the pitchers for Alliance. Ten scores by the hosts in the first inning was more than enough as the Spartans dropped to 10 and 14 for the season.
Alliance was up to bat first and went down in order. The host’s bats were red hot in the bottom of the opening inning. Torrington used 5 hits, a couple of walks, and an error by the Spartans to plate 10 runs. Walks to Garcia and Jackson Devlin gave the Peltz Co a chance in the top of the second but neither runner would score. Five more tallies by the Tigers in the home half of the second secured the win. The hosts had a 2 run double and a 2 runs single to put the game out of reach. Inning #3 saw Alliance go down 1-2-3 and the contest came to a close due to the run rule. Final Torrington 15 Alliance 0
