Both Alliance teams put 2 on the scoreboard in the first. The Peltz Co got a 2 run single by Ryan Walker to take the early lead. Myers also had a hit in the frame. In the home half, the Sandlot responded with a 2 spot of their own. Walks to Conyers and Tatum Devlin sent Hernandez to the dish whose 2 RBI single tied the game at 2 all.

Seven big runs by the Peltz Co in the top of the second gave the Spartans a nice cushion. Knocks by Sonny Hernandez, Quinn Ferguson, Esai Trejo, Walker, and Myers made it a 9 to 2 matchup. Hits in the home half by Greve, Conyers, and Johnson gave the Sandlot hope but all 3 failed to cross. Heading to the final inning, the Preps led 9 to 2.
