Jay Steinle, Scotts Bluff County Facilities Manager, has received a Special Recognition Award from the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (NIRMA), the county’s property, liability and workers’ compensation coverage and risk management services provider.
The announcement of his selection was made during an awards banquet held in conjunction with the annual membership conference the organization presented Oct. 23-24 in Kearney. Participation in NIRMA is exclusive to Nebraska counties and county-related agencies.
Steinle was chosen for his demonstrated dedication to risk management and professional development through attending NIRMA’s educational events, and for his efforts to incorporate loss prevention recommendations to mitigate liability risks the county confronts. Each year NIRMA honors those members and individuals who demonstrate a commitment to reducing potential risks, liability exposures and claim costs.
