Scottsbluff hosted the first Cross Country meet on Thursday with 10 schools participating. Taking first with 23 points in the middle school girl’s division were the Lady Bulldogs. A second place finish by AMS’s Penn Vergil led the way. Alliance was also the winner in the varsity boy’s competition with William Zurn and Asher Saka finishing 8th and 9th. Hemingford had 3 champs on the day with Emma Raben winning the Junior High girl’s race, Ainslee Woltman winning the varsity girl’s competition, and Austin Benda the champion in the varsity boy’s competition.
