Contests for the Blue Sox on Sunday in Scottsbluff came to a finish with a game versus the Crush. Casper used big first and second frames to down Alliance 11 to 1. The Crush scored 5 in the first and 6 in the second in posting the win. Zeke Dean tossed both innings for the Sox. Alliance had 5 hits on the day and were led by Bodee Barber who tallied two.
Alliance hit first and scored one tally. Knocks by Barber and Canton Devlin set the table for Dean. His rbi groundout made it 1 to 0. It was all Casper after that. The Crush scored 5 in the home half to take the lead. Heading to the second, the Peltz Co trailed 5 to 1.
Frame #2 had Alliance getting a single from Levi Escamilla but no scores. Meanwhile, the Casper hit parade continued. The Crush scored 6 more to build an 11 to 1 advantage. In the third, good swings by Kade Kelley and Barber gave the Blue Sox an opportunity. Unfortunately, both runners were left on the bases. Final Casper 11 Alliance 1
