Alliance Woman Missing From Correctional Facility

A woman who was convicted of felony drug possession in Box Butte County is missing from the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln.

Ruby Bingham, who was convicted of possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony, and resisting arrest, a class 1 misdemeanor, in 2019, left her work location in downtown Lincoln on July 9.

A video captured her getting into a vehicle with two other individuals, which then drove away from the area around the State Capitol.

Bingham is described as a 40-year old white woman who is 5’2” and approximately 145 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes. Anyone who has information about her whereabouts is encouraged to contact local law enforcement or the Nebraska State Patrol.

Bingham was serving a three-year sentence out of Scotts Bluff County for possession of methamphetamine. Her sentence began on April 20, 2021, and she was set to be released on April 5, 2024.
