Alliance area poolplayer De Holt from Bridgeport (see photo) has earned a spot in the American Poolplayers Association (APA) Poolplayer Championships in Las Vegas after winning her skill level tier at the Western Nebraska APA 9-Ball Singles Regional Championships held at TJ’s Family Fun Center in McCook.
Players that advance to the Vegas Championship event compete with others at or near their own skill level, with $10,000 in cash and prizes being offered for first place.
Players also enjoy a generous travel allowance, paid entry fees/greens fees and complimentary lodging at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino, site of the APA Championships.
