ATH Car Contest Ends Soon

This week, one lucky reader will be given the chance to win a car through the second Alliance Times-Herald Car Contest.

Over the past few months, dedicated readers have scoured the paper, searching for answers to each week’s crossword and word search. The contest, however, will draw to a close on Saturday after the Heritage Days Parade when the grand prize winner will participate in a Pick Until You Win contest with several prizes available, including a 2021 Ford EcoSport from Cover-Jones. Other prizes include a BBQ Grill donated by PREMA, and a prize basket, complete with gift cards from local businesses with more than $250 in value.

Entries for the final weekly contest are due by 2 p.m. on Friday. The final weekly winner will be announced on the Alliance Times-Herald Facebook page. At 3 p.m. on Friday, the Alliance Times-Herald will go live on Facebook to select five finalists to be entered into the grand prize drawing. Each of the five finalists will need to meet at the Alliance Times-Herald, located at 114 East 4th Street in Alliance, after the Heritage Days Parade where the grand prize winner will be given the chance to win the car.

“Thank you to all of the participants and the local businesses who have helped this contest come to life amid the pandemic,” Alliance Times-Herald Co-Publisher Kathryn Kellar said. “We hope to have it again next year.”

“We’ve seen a lot of interest in this contest since it started, which has been great for our community,” said Alliance Times-Herald Co-Publisher Shaun Friedrichsen. “We encourage people to keep reading the Alliance Times-Herald for future contests and other fun activities.”
