Barbara Suiter passed away last week in Port Angeles, WA in the loving care of her daughter Melissa Andersen. Her son Eric, spent time visiting her there and taking care of their home in Alliance.
She leaves her family with a plethora of memories including holiday parties with her parents Art Suiter and Betty and Herb Vogel and family birthday bashes in the homes of her sisters, Betty Drumheller and Janice Maddox.
Many knew her from their work as BNSF train crew. She loved helping you to get to your assigned duties and especially in getting you safely back to your family.
Her spirit was such that she loved helping others but never wanted to impose on anyone.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. To honor her memory, the family suggests holding a loved one a little closer, taking an adventure you’ve been holding out on and simply living your best life in service to yourself and others.
If she were here today, Barb would ask each one of you to not shed a tear for her passing but rather take a moment to enjoy a happy memory of her. In doing so, you will pay her the ultimate homage in the exact way she would have wished for it.
For those compelled to also make a memorial donation, the family suggests supporting the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in their battle against pancreatic cancer.
