Hemingford Boys Golf team headed to the Alliance Invitational April 21, where they competed very well for a windy day.
“Considering the weather conditions, I’m very pleased with our efforts today,” said Coach Joe Collins.
The Bobcats claimed fourth place in division two, with a combined team score of 405.
“It has been quite a while since we’ve had a team that can consistently shoot around 400,” said Collins.
Dax Powell led the way for the Bobcats shooting a score of 90, earning a sixth place medal.
“Dax continues to lead the way, but it is so nice to have Drew and Daren being able to contribute with scores right around 100. Both of them are really close to shooting around bogey golf,” said Collins.
