The Alliance St. Agnes track teams competed against some good teams and mother nature in their two meets last week. On Tuesday, St Agnes took part in a quad meet at Bulldog Stadium. Then on Thursday, windy conditions were a big factor as the Crusaders traveled to Kimball. Alliance had 5 gold medal performances in the quad meet.
Paz Cody won the girls 800, while fellow Crusader Hannah Benzel took home first in the triple jump. Striking gold for the boys were Coy Childers in the 100 hurdles, Asher Saka in the mile, and Mason Hamilton in the high jump. Saka also placed first at Kimball in the mile.

Coach Mark Glesinger said, “We really had a nice showing in Alliance on Tuesday with the weather being pretty good. It was as bad Thursday in Kimball as I have ever witness. The wind start early and never quit! Our kids did a nice job despite the conditions and continue to improve!”
