Dry Pea, Lentil Commission to Host Meeting in North Platte

The Dy Pea & Lentil Commission (DPLC) will hold its next meeting on Friday, June 10 at the West Central Research & Extension Center – 402 W. State Farm Rd, North Platte, NE 69101. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. CT.

During the meeting, the DPLC board will receive reports from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and USA Pulses. They will review funding proposals for the second time and create an annual budget for fiscal year 2022-2023 as well as a biennium budget. The Board will also determine travel & participation in upcoming meetings and events. The public is welcome to attend any open portion of the meeting. The Nebraska Dry Pea and Lentil Commission administers the check-off of one percent (1%) of the net market value of dry peas and lentils sold through commercial channels in the State of Nebraska. The Commission invests the funds into international and domestic marketing and improvement, research, publicity and education.
