I am writing to publicly acknowledge the successful summer at the municipal pool. I have swam in many swimming pools on many cities; this one is the best. It is very user friendly. My praise to Erin Armstrong and her guards for their excellent work and willingness to stay open as long as possible, even at the daily 6:00 AM. hour. She is an exemplary employee and trained her guards to be at their best. I figured out that I have been a swimmer at the Alliance pools, first on Niobrara, then 14th and Cheyenne, and now on Box Butte, for a total of 60 years. Kudos for a job well done. If you are not a swimmer, try going for a walk in the pool next summer. It is very refreshing on hot summer days!
