I love to watch “This Old House” on tv when I can. It is very interesting, it covers all phases of living in our houses, so much one can learn and yet never learn it all. It sure can give you plenty ideas and even ideas how to do something different from your old ways.
In life there is no perfect analogy when it comes to comparing God and His Word with our human life. We could in life listen to our Old God. After all He has been around longer than anyone or anything. This Old God created everything we pretty much do in our homes to create Home Sweet Home. He created our hearts and brains and DNA.
He also created love, peace, joy, gentleness, kindness, and self-control. He gives us all these things so that we can live our lives in our old house and live patiently knowing that we will get a new house one day which will never die or get sick, never have sorrow again.
The Bible says, “Our present sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory that we will receive” Thank God that He loves you and I and absolutely gives us everything we need for this life all because He loves us.
