Local poolplayers have been recognized for winning the Fall Session of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 8-Ball and 9-Ball Pool Leagues.
Winning the Monday 9-Ball title was “Roadhouse” out of Bowl Mor in Alliance including (photo, l to r) Marshall Sheldon, Blas Leyva, Tirah Cox Alicia Moreno, Lori WarBonnet and Vinny Moreno. Not shown is Derek WarBonnet.
League MVP awards went to Lori WarBonnet, Truen Henderson and Tala Olvera.
The top team in the Wednesday 8-Ball League was “The Reneg8’s” out of Gathering Spot in Alliance including (photo, l to r) Sergio Airada, Shelly Piper, Bernardo Reza, Chuck Dentler and Martin Freimuth. Not shown are J.W. Reynoldson and Royce Wagner.
MVP honors went to Martin Freimuth, Truen Henderson and Robert Benjamin.
Henderson was also recognized for finishing as the top male 8-Ball player in the Western Nebraska APA region.
Winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA World Qualifiers to compete for trips to the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.
