Carter Vath from Dalton and De Holt from Alliance will advance to the American Poolplayers Association’s (APA) 9-Ball Doubles Championship in Las Vegas in April after winning the 9-Ball Doubles tournament held recently at TJ’s Family Fun Center in McCook.
Once in Las Vegas, the duo will compete in a field of 384 teams and for a share of over $38,000 in prize money, including a first-place purse of $5,000.
Players that advance to the APA Championship events in Las Vegas receive paid entry fee/greens fees, a generous travel allowance and complimentary lodging at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino, site of the APA Championships.
