Scott Bolinger and Tony Buethe from Alliance came up just short of advancing to the American Poolplayers Association’s (APA) 8-Ball Doubles Championship in Las Vegas after falling in the finals of the 8-Ball Doubles tournament held recently Eagles Club in North Platte.
The duo received a cash prize for their second-place finish.
Once in Las Vegas, 8-Ball Doubles teams compete in a field of 768 teams and for a share of over $76,000 in prize money.
Players that advance to the APA World Championship receive paid entry fee/greens fees, a generous travel allowance and complimentary lodging.
