June Ellen Preiss (age 72) died on August 6, 2026, at the Hemingford Care Center in Hemingford, Nebraska. June was born on March 08, 1954, in Crawford, Nebraska, to Kenneth and La Vaughn Robertson. She married her spouse of nearly fifty-two years, Terry W. Preiss, on September 28, 1974.
June was known as being a strong, loyal friend and a hard worker. She worked many jobs throughout her life, including thirteen years at Dayco. Her hobbies included computer games, knitting, and crochet. She was known for making holiday stockings and other items for family and friends. June was loved by her husband, Terry, children, Paul and Rebecca Cornish, and grandson, Steven Cornish.
June was preceded in death by her grandfather, Hobart, her parents, LaVaughn, Kenneth, and Ann, and sister, Mary. She will be forever missed by her husband, Terry; children, Paul and Rebecca; and grandson, Steven. June is also survived by her sisters, Klara (Dean) Serl, Rheva French, Robin (Paul) Shimek, and Heidi (Dave) Perkins, and brothers, Gene Marek and Keith Robertson.
A private service for loved ones will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Alliance Volunteer Fire Department.
