Maynard D Edgar, 92, passed away on October 7 at Morrill County Community Hospital from heart complications and pneumonia.
Maynard was born February 23, 1934, in Central City, Nebraska to Floyd and Eldora (Hosier) Edgar. They later moved to Gering, Nebraska, where he grew up.
On October 9, 1956, he married Ruth L Nason from Alliance, Ne. From this union the couple had two daughters
Maynard was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Eldora, and two siblings, Deloris (Elmer) Dietrich and Jeanene (Steve) Lawrence.
Survived by his wife, Ruth L. Edgar, daughters and their families, Kris (Barry) McVicker, Brenda (Paul) Schnell, Elisa (Travis, Madison, Bo) Rodak, and Trent (Amy, Kaeli, Kelsie) McVicker.
Visitation will be held at Saturday at 9:30 at the Lisco Presbyterian Church in Lisco, Nebraska. A funeral service will follow at 10:30. Burial will be held in Alliance, Ne, at the Alliance Cemetery at 2:00 in the afternoon.
