On His Team

Where is our destination? We all get older a day at a time, days, weeks, months, turn into years and years turn into decades and finally somewhere along the way we discover that time really goes fast.

We are kind of like football players in life, we are padded up, have our helmets on and our favorite running shoes, trying to overcome our enemies and live life.

Trouble is we don’t know the enemy at times and he comes in and devours us.

I love football but the natural protection they have is manmade. We need better protection to overcome this world. We need the helmet of salvation, we need to sword of the spirit, we need the breastplate of righteousness, and swift shoes to escape the devil and even our very own selves.

Only God’s equipment is going to get us to our destination, nothing else is able to. Only His protection is going to give us truth, love, hope, faith, and peace to move on.

Don’t be fooled for the enemy is very cagey and evil. God wants better for you because He loves us all whether we are the super bowl quarterback or the waterboy, we all have our roles and are blessed to be on His team.
