Local pool players were recognized for winning the Summer Session of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 9-Ball Pool League.
Winning the Monday 9-Ball title was “Roadhouse” out of Bowl Mor in Alliance including (photo, l to r) Marshall Sheldon, Avian Moreno, Tirah Cox, Lori WarBonnet, and Derek WarBonnet. Not shown is Vinny Moreno.
9-Ball MVP awards went to Lori WarBonnet, Juan Martinez, and Sergio Airada.
The winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA World Qualifiers to compete for trips to the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.
A new session of the APA Pool League starts in January. Leagues offered include Monday 9-Ball and Wednesday 8-Ball. Teams have until Friday, December 19th to register.
