Local poolplayers were recognized recently for winning the Spring Session of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 8-Ball and 9-Ball Leagues.
Winning the Wednesday 8-Ball title was “Break N Run” out of The Gathering Spot in Alliance including Charles Glass, Tammy Coward, Ryan Taylor, Isaiah Johnson, Monte Dexter, Terry Pierce and Harley Keenan.
8-Ball MVP awards went to Trisha Thayer, De Holt and Chuck Taylor.
The Monday 9-Ball championship went to “The Dominators” out of The Gathering Spot in Alliance including Tony Gonzalez, Leta Lucero, Truen Henderson, Isaiah Johnson, Nathan Grant and Jessica Grant.
Earning 9-Ball MVP honors were Jessica Grant, Truen Henderson and Sergio Airada.
Nathan Grant received the milestone certificate to commemorate surpassing 500 matches played in the 9-Ball League.
Winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA World Qualifiers to compete for trips to the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.
