Local pool players were recently recognized for winning the Summer Session of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 9-Ball Pool League.
Winning the Monday 9-Ball title was “Lucky Styx” out of The Gathering Spot in Alliance including Scott Bolinger, Eric Gosnell, Marilyn Bolinger, James Gutierrez, Angela Ayers, Justin Bossell, Sandra Grundmeier and Tony Buethe.
League MVP awards went to MVP honors went to Angela Ayers, Spencer Barker and Marshall Sheldon.
Ayers was also recognized at the top female 9-Ball player in the Western Nebraska APA region.
Winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA World Qualifiers in North Platte to compete for trips to the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.
