Getting involved in local organizations is a great way to feel connected to your community. Like many area non-profit [IRS recognized 501 (C) (3)] entities, East Point Horspice relies on volunteers and public support with their dedicated efforts to make things happen.
One easy and fun way to offer support is to attend the 10th annual EPH Wild West Party coming up on Saturday February 27th at the Alliance Eagles Club. This event will be similar to past horsey hooplas with games for the kids, silent auction items, great food, poker for the adults, and after 9 p.m. the amazing and talented Crossbell band will give the over 18 crowd an outlet to scoot those dusty boots across the dance floor.
Many local businesses demonstrate their generosity through donations of auction items, and for that the horses say “Thank you.” If you have items you’d like to donate, contact EPH. Perhaps you’d like to help with the set up and/or take down of the event, that is welcome, also. For further details, visit www.eastpointhorspice.com or find EPH on Facebook. This is just another great way to enjoy our hometown, meet up with old friends, or maybe make some new ones.
