PSWGA Competes in Alliance

The Panhandle Senior Women’s Golf Association had 26 ladies competing on August 1st at Skyview Golf Course in Alliance.

Taking first place, with a score of 71 gross/58.49 net and two birdies, was Gina Briggs, Terry Grosz, and Claudia Benda. In second place, the team of Jane Faber, Londa Maron, Joy Eberhardt and Kay Heggem carded a score of 77 gross/63.21 net. The third-place team consisted of Gail Magers, Tracy Mooney, and Pat Rogers. They recorded a score of 77 gross/63.46 net. Sharon Nuss, Kris DeVries, Audrey Nelson, and Norma Perkins came in fourth place with a score of 82 gross/67.01 net.

Flag prizes were awarded as follows: Longest Drive “A” Player – Marsha Neifert, Longest Drive “B” Player – Terry Grosz, Longest Drive “C” Player – Jane Holechek and Longest Drive “D” Player – Chris Lapaseotes. Gail Magers snagged the longest putt flag. Closest to the pin on the Par 3 flags were won by Gina Briggs and Jane Faber. Pam Adams was closest in two on Hole #4, and Kris DeVries was closest in three on Hole #12.
