This is not Washington DC, but Alliance, Nebraska. Our Alliance Public School Board is the smallest of government entities. Their job is to take care of our kids. Every few days I get a call from Panhandle Health checking on me because I’m a COVID -19 survivor. I was lucky. Almost every school system in the Panhandle is masking up every day. Panhandle Health is very frustrated with APS School board. We see and hear more and more kids getting COVID 19 in our school system and still no masks. We are the only large school in the Panhandle with no masks policy. It is just matter of time when an Administrator, Teacher, Student and family members gets Covid-19 and either get very sick or die. Citizens of Alliance will hold you civilly and criminally responsible for your inactions by spreading COVID-19 through the schools system when it could of been stopped by you. Do us all a favor and resign and let somebody else do your job Taking care of our kids is your only job. Your failing by interjecting your political feelings into our school system and it is very sad. Be a leader and do your job and save our kids and families from catching this terrible disease.
