Scottsbluff took game two of a doubleheader against the Alliance Prep club 14 to 1 to complete the sweep. Westco jumped out to a big lead in the opening inning in getting the win. The Peltz Co also lost the opener 21 to 0 in ball games played Tuesday in Alliance. With the defeat, the Spartans see their record fall to 11 and 5 on the year. Alliance ended with 2 hits. Cooper Gallas had a knock in the second while Jace Jensen tripled and scored in the fourth. Jensen started the contest and had 5 strikeouts. Also taking the rubber were Tee Johnson and Logan Freiberger.
Jensen would strike out the side in the first frame but the Bluffs scored seven times to take the lead. Westco used a couple of hits, a few walks, and 2 errors by the Spartans to go up 7 to 0. Alliance bats were silenced in the home half and the contest went to the second with the Peltz Co down 7 to 0.
Three more runs by the guests in the second increased their margin. Jensen would record 2 more Ks in the frame. A hit by Galles in the bottom of the inning gave the Preps a chance. Unfortunately, he was left on the sacks. In the third, the Hot Shots added to their advantage with three more tallies. The Spartans again were turned away in their comeback attempt in the home half. Both teams scored once in their at bat. Down 14 to 0, Jensen drilled a triple into left center field. He would score the last tally on a passed ball. Final Scottsbluff 14 Alliance 1
