Teach Your Children the Rosary

We had three children, and I took birth control pills and then we had our son Kevin. He lives with us now, and he does the laundry for us, does just about all the mowing of our lawn because my husband has balance issues, and because we never grew up with computers, he does all of the computer work for us. I used to volunteer a lot singing in the church choir, community choir, volunteer at the Collection Basket, and volunteer with the local RSVP.

I listen to Spirit Catholic Radio a lot, which is on station 103.9 and I watch EWTN, which is on channel 261. I know many of you have jobs, but teach your children how to say the rosary. You young people who are going to college might join your Newman Club.

My father-in-law died from lupus and he liked roses and for some time after he died, I smelled roses, and every time I get roses I think of him. When my husband Jim gave me roses for my birthday, I thought of him.

As many know, I have a son who died just about 10 years ago, and it was many of the people in this community who got us through it. This is probably too much information and I’m not a public speaker, but these are my experiences, in other words the death of son, my other son being bipolar, and another son in Lincoln. The blessed Mother Mary has been there for our family. I’m very passionate about this and because I can’t do as much now because of mobility issues, this is my way to evangelize.
