Coach Mark Glesinger said, “Super way to end the year! We really had an awesome athletic year at St. Agnes this year. The girls won both conference volleyball and track. They were on their way to win the basketball title but were weathered out. The boys went undefeated in football and won the conference title in basketball. The boys also placed first at the western conference track meet and second at the Panhandle conference meet. As for track the teams broke a lot of school record which was fun to watch. And just as in football this will be my last year coaching. After 28 seasons I am hanging up my stop watch. Very blessed to have coached a lot of great athletes and fortunate to coach 14 conference championship teams-7 girls and 7 boys titles in our last 16 attempts. Many thanks go to all my assistants coaches: Brian and Ivy Shelmadine, Steve Nelson, Buck Vergil, Justine Devlin, Orson Merrill, and Cheryl Kusek. Thanks go to all the parents who drove the kids to all the meets and to JJ Smith who helped at the conference meet.”
