In the morning as I look out the picture window I see geese coming and going into the open field. It must be quite a sensation to just take off and fly, I also wonder how much work does it take to keep them big wings flopping back and forth.
Do they get muscle aches and even arthritis? They probably think they are on the top of the world when the wings are working good but what happens when a wing breaks, are they pretty much a goner, victim of the next predator.
It is easy for us to start out in life feeling on top of the world but because of sin we might get tired of the same ol, might even break a wing, might feel like what is the use? There is a place where we can go because anyone who has been around knows that trouble and suffering soon enter the picture. Suffering might even wake us up to what is really important in life.
Even though the world is overloaded with hatred, evil, mental illness, divorce, drug abuse there is plenty of hope for those who seek refuge in the Lord.
Anyone can pray to the Lord, the Lord will accept your words of repentance, the Lord loves you and came into this world, died a horrible death for you so that you can become whole, able to fly with the eagles, able to love and forgive, able to be free of evil that holds us down, all because He loves you!
