Alliance High School’s track record board will need a change following Tuesday’s Best of the West meet. With a time of 8:03, the Dogs were first in the 2 mile relay. AHS broke the 1964 record of 8:04. Team members were: William Zurn, Asher Saka, Devin Graham, and Trevor Zurn. Scottsbluff hosted the competition where athletes had to qualify to take part. No team scores were recorded.
A pair of Bulldogs brought home second place honors with Tanner Salcido ending second in the triple jump and Trevor Zurn taking the silver in the 800. Top placer for the Lady Bulldogs was Brooke Bailey who came in third in the 400. Winning firsts in the unified category were Aiden Johnson, Alexis Libsack, Amilya Lopez, and Brinlee Lanik.
