Box Butte County 4-Hers Attend Fort Robinson Horse Camp

Dawes County 4-H Extension has been hosting the annual Fort Robinson Horse Camp for 48 years. This camp provides clinicians to help campers learn new horsemanship skills, create a craft, and enjoy the beauty of Fort Robinson on Trail Rides and this year was no different. Several Box Butte County 4-H members attended this three-day camp learning about Reined Cowhorse, how they can improve their horsemanship, showmanship, and reining patterns, created a martingale, and so much more! Long time Horse committee members Tom and Genice Walters along with their daughter Desirea lead the campers in creating a craft that can be used every day they are horse back.
