Ashley Carr Earns Recognition of Excellence in Communication from Dickinson State
Ashley Carr of Alliance, NE, demonstrated exceptional skills in communications courses at Dickinson State University (DSU). This student was awarded the Recognition of Excellence in Communication by the Office of Academic Affairs following the spring 2026 semester.
The Recognition of Excellence in Communication is awarded to students in all disciplines who have exhibited a high level of achievement in communication-related courses at Dickinson State. Specifically, it is awarded to students who have earned an A or B grade in College Composition I and II (ENGL 110 and 120) and Fundamentals of Public Speaking (COMM 110) over the course of their collegiate career.
This recognition can be verified by employers who are looking for workers with good written and spoken communication skills and will be posted to the student’s Merit Pages account.

Fort Hays State University Releases Spring 2026 Dean’s Honor Roll

Fort Hays State University has named 1,996 students to the Dean’s Honor Roll for the spring 2026 semester.
The Dean’s Honor Roll includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible, students must have completed 12 or more credit hours and earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.60 for the semester. Full-time on-campus and online students are eligible.
The list does not include students who requested privacy. If a Hays address was given by the student as their primary home address, and no other hometown was designated, the student will be listed as a Hays student. Students are listed by city.

UNMC Announces Spring 2026 Dean’s List
List includes students enrolled in nursing, dentistry, pharmacy and allied health professions programs.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center has announced its spring 2026 dean’s list for students enrolled in nursing, dentistry, pharmacy and the allied health professions of medical imaging and therapeutic sciences program and medical laboratory science.
To qualify for the dean’s list, nursing and the allied health students must be enrolled for 12 or more hours during the semester and have a grade point average of 3.75 or above. To qualify for the pharmacy dean’s list, students must place in the top 20% of their class and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Dental students must be in the top 10% of their class for the semester.
The following is a list of students, their hometowns and the colleges in which they are enrolled. The names of students who choose not to be listed due to privacy reasons — protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act — are not included.

University of Wyoming Spring Semester Dean’s and Dean’s Freshman Honor Rolls: Nebraska
The University of Wyoming lists the following students from Nebraska on the 2026 spring semester academic Dean’s and Dean’s Freshman Honor Rolls.
The honor rolls consist of regularly enrolled undergraduates above freshman standing who earned a 3.4 or better grade-point average, and freshmen who have earned a 3.25 or better grade-point average.
To be eligible, students must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours taken for letter grades.
