Eight Blue Sox garner hits on Friday in an Alliance win over Valor 18 to 3. Gering hosted the matchup. The Peltz Co needed just 2 innings in posting the victory. Alliance tallied 13 runs in the opening frame then added 5 more in the second. Overall, the Sox ended with 10 knocks with Marshall Moseman and Zeke Dean leading the offense with 2 each. Bodee Barber tossed both innings for Alliance and had 4 Ks.
Frame #1 had Valor plate three but it was all Sox after that. Alliance batted around with both Moseman and Dean having 2 knocks apiece in the first inning. An RBI double by Moseman began the scoring. Dean followed with a good swing as the Sox continued their comeback. Tied at 3, the Peltz Co then got an RBI groundout by Parks Sylvester and a hit by Cameron Walker to go up by 2. Alliance’s next tallies came after a hit by Barber and a couple of wild pitches. Doubles by Moseman and Dean finished the frame with Alliance up 13 to 3.
Barber had a pair of strikeouts in the of the second as Valor went scoreless. Five mores scores then ended the ball game. Walks to Slade Harris and Walker started the scoring. The Peltz Co received knocks from Von Krejci and Levi Escamilla to increase their margin. An RBI double by Grady Mulhern finished off the 18 to 3 W.
