Accompanied by Chadron State President Jodi Kupper and his wife, Kim, Joe Planansky, an All-American tight end at Chadron State College in the early 1990s, waves to the crowd at the Eagles’ game last Saturday after they had given him a standing ovation when he was introduced at the end of the third quarter. He is the seventh former CSC football player to be inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame on Friday, Sept. 4 in Lincoln. He’s a native of Hemingford and is a chiropractor in Fort Collins, Colo. Former CSC coaches Ross Armstrong and Brad Smith also are in the Hall of Fame.
