Norman H. Anderson, 88, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Highland Park Care Center.
He was born April 15, 1935 at his parent’s rural Hemingford home to Knute and Nora (Dietchler) Anderson. On May 29, 1955 he was united in marriage to Darlene C. Stull. Norman was a lifetime Hemingford area farmer.
He is survived by his children, Daniel (Patty) Anderson of Hemingford, Robert “Hank” Anderson of Crawford, Debora (Kelly) Jessee of Mesa, AZ and Patricia Vogel (fiancé’ Charlie Edmonds) of Hemingford. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dustin and Angyl Anderson and their children, Luka and NoraLuna; Travis and Nancy Anderson and their children, Regan, Anna and Turner; Blayne Anderson; Bradley and Amanda Havranek; Adam (Kelli) Jessee, daughter Lyla and son, Krew; Seth Vogel and his son, Zander; Mitchell and Brittany Vogel and their children, Karsyn and Krew; Trae and Bailey Vogel and their daughter, Rylynn; and Rayce Vogel (Jennifer Davis.) His sister, Gladys Thomas of Los Angeles, CA and his sister-in-law, Doris Bernhoft also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Darlene and his sister, Betty Essert.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hemingford American Legion. Interment in the Hemingford Cemetery will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Hemingford Volunteer Firefighters Association.
