Peltz Co Sox Fall to Westco

A seven run second inning by Westco was too much to overcome for the Blue Sox on Saturday. Westco broke open a tie contest with a big second frame and beat the Alliance Blue Sox 15 to 8. The Expos also added runs in the third and fourth in posting the victory. Alliance got 2 hits from Zeke Dean to lead their offense. Bodee Barber, Slade Harris, and Levi Escamilla tossed for the Peltz Co.

Back though came Scottsbluff as the Expos also tallied 5 in their first inning at bat. Momentum then stayed with Westco in the second. The Peltz Co failed to score in the top of inning #2 while the Expos exploded for 7 scores. Heading to the third, Alliance was down 12 to 5.

Both squads scored twice in the third. Marshall Moseman walk and later scored on a wild pitch. An RBI hit by Dean ensued as the Sox got within 5. Westco responded with 2 more to increase their margin back to 7. Alliance went down silently in there at bat in the fourth.
