Local poolplayers were recognized recently for winning the Fall Session of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 8-Ball and 9-Ball Leagues.
The Monday 9-Ball championship went to “Break N Run” out of The Gathering Spot in Alliance.
Earning 9-Ball MVP honors were Leta Lucero, Blas Leyva, and Willie Smith.
Taking the Wednesday 8-Ball title was “Break N Run” out of The Gathering Spot in Alliance.
8-Ball MVP honors went to Misty Taylor, Justin Bossell, and Doug Shimp.
The winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA World Qualifiers to compete for trips to the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.
